Skoda Kushaq and Slavia Elegance Edition launched: Skoda is famous for its special edition of their existing lineup. With the help of these special editions, Skoda aims to increase its sales in the Indian market. Previously, they have launched the matte edition of the Slavia and Kushaq to improve their features list.
Skoda has launched both models based on the top-of-the-line variant. The Elegance Edition will have only one engine option, the 1.5-litre TSI engine. Customers will get the option to choose between the manual and or the DSG automatic transmission versions. Skoda Kushaq and Slavia Elegance Edition will only be offered in a new deep black colour scheme and will be sold in limited numbers.

Skoda Elegance Edition Price in India
The Kushaq Elegance Edition is priced between Rs. 18.31 lakh for the manual version and Rs. 19.51 lakh for the DSG automatic, the Slavia Elegance Edition is priced between Rs. 17.52 lakh for the manual version and Rs. 18.92 lakh for the DSG automatic.

The Elegance Edition of both the Skoda Kushaq and Slavia offers you a new Deep Black colour option. On the outside, it receives a number of cosmetic tweaks, including the now fully blacked-out pillars on the outside, grille, chrome finish, dual-tone alloy wheels, and Elegance Edition badges on the fenders at the rear. Apart from this, we do not see any other changes on the exterior. Its overall design is the same as the current model.
Thanks to the black treatment and subtle change both the cars feel more premium. The Kushaq gets new 17-inch dual-tone Vega alloy wheels, while the Slavia gets new 16-inch Ving alloy wheels.

Skoda Elegance Edition Cabin
On the inside, the Elegance Edition include puddle lamps with logo projection, Elegance Edition badging on the headrest, steering wheel, cushions, and aluminium pedals. Apart from this, the cabin is going to be offered with new leather seats. The Elegance Edition gets 6 speakers + subwoofer for entertainment.
Elegance Edition Features
Apart from the Elegance Edition feature addon, both the cars get the usual features same as the top variant. They feature a digital instrument cluster with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. Apart from this, as other highlights, it has been given cruise control, automatic climate control, a height-adjustable driver seat, a ventilated front seat, and a voice-assisted sunroof. The cars get wireless charging and a USB Type C charging port for the rear passengers.
Some time ago, a 10-inch touchscreen was included with the previous Anniversary Edition, which was launched a while ago.
Skoda Kushaq and Slavia Safety features
Regarding safety features, Skoda Slavia gets a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP. It also gets six airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitor system, EBD with ABS, hill hold assist, rear parking sensor with camera and ISOFIX child seat anchors, among other safety features.

There has also been no mechanical change under the bonnet. It is powered by the same 1.5 litre TSI petrol engine that churns out 150 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
The other engine option not included in the Elegance Edition is the 1.0 litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that generates 115 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed torque converter.

Skoda Slavia competes with Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Volkswagen Virtus and Honda City in the Indian market. At the same time, the Kushaq locks the horn with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, and MG Hector.
