In comparison, the long wheelbase measures 4,660mm long, and the wheelbase is 2,755mm long. The height of 1,660mm and width of 1,865mm remain the same on both long and short variants. Kia will bring the long wheelbase version to India just like the Tucson. The Sportage will be based on the Hyundai Tuscon.

Kia and Hyundai are known for their radical design. The Sportage is no different and even tops the Kia lineup for the same. At the front, there is a large black grille with grey elements on top. The rear design is clean, with LED tail lamps and a blacked-out bumper. The side profile is similar to the newly launched Tuscon. On the top, the Sportage has Roof Rails. In the US, the car comes with 17-inch alloys in the base variant and goes up to 19-inch. And expect similar sizes in India, too.

The interiors of any Kia are impressive, and the Sportage doesn’t disappoint. The Sportage comes with 12.3-inch Dual Panoramic Displays. It also packs a 360° Surround View Monitor or a 360° camera. The car also features Wireless Charging and dual-zone climate control with touch-sensitive buttons. It has a 3-spoke steering wheel with media and cruise controls built in.
The car has a powered tailgate, A panoramic Sunroof, a powered driver and co-passenger seats with memory function and has total of 5 seats. The car is equipped with ADAS as well as features like Park Distance Warning-Rear, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Safe Exit Warning, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Following Assist and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist-Pedestrian and Cyclist.

Kia has not officially said anything about the Kia Sportage Launch Date in India. The car was even imported to be showcased at the Auto Expo 2023. However, for some reason, Kia dropped the idea. Kia is expected to launch the Sportage in the second half of 2024. The pricing of the Sportage will be in line with the Tuscon and start from Rs. 25 lakh Ex-showroom. When launched, it will rival the Hyundai Tuscon, Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Tiguan, Citroen C5 Aircross, Jeep Meridian, Isuzu MU-X, MG Gloster and BYD Atto 3.
