Azhar, who dropped out from IIT Delhi, realised that the Internet was gaining massive popularity and he started the page. In 2015 it started gaining popularity and with the gaining popularity they launched an app in the Apple App Store and the rest is history. Inshorts has raised a total of 119 million dollars of funding in a total of 6 rounds from investors like Tiger Global, Vy Capitals, Rebright Partners, Times Internet and Others.

Azhar is the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Inshorts. “A decade later, entering my 30s, we are now one of the largest players in our field, with 1.2 crore Indians using our apps every day,” Azhar added.

Anunay is the co-founder of Inshorts, he has done his M.Tech in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He was a part of the prestigious institution between 2009 and 2014.

Deepit is the third co-founder of Inshorts, he has done his B.Tech and M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He was part of IIT Kharagpur from 2009 to 2014. He currently serves as a Chief Strategy Officer of Inshorts.
