Tata Avinya Design

The design of the Tata Avinya is similar to that of a crossover SUV. At the front, it will get an LED headlight unit with connecting LEDs and an illuminated grille. The EV will have a longwheel base, and thanks to it, expect excellent cabin space. The side profile has a continuing line till the tail lamps, starting from the headlamps. It has large wheels, most probably 20 inches. The most exciting part is that there are no side mirrors. Instead, we get to see cameras doing the job. The rear also sports entirely LED units, the tail lamps are also connected, and the whole tail lamp unit is embedded on a spoiler, a design element unseen previously.

The steering wheel design is already seen in the current models of other Tatas. The cabin is futuristic, and the floor of the cabin is entirely flat thanks to the Gen 3 architecture.

Expect it to be equipped with many exciting features from Tata Motors. A digital instrument cluster with a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, smart car connectivity, 360-degree camera, ventilated and heated seats with height-adjustable driver seat, electronic panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and Premium audio system.

Tata Avinya Safety features

Tata cars are among the safest around, and expect the Avinya to be no different. Expect 5-star safety ratings from different agencies from around the globe. ADAS will be incorporated, Level 2 ADAS is expected, for enhanced passenger and pedestrian safety. ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring system, real-time cross traffic alert, traffic jam assist, and automatic high beam assist will be included.

Tata Avinya Battery and Range

There is no information available regarding the battery options. Tata Avinya will be Tata’s first electric vehicle based on the Generation 3 electric platform, so it will get a larger battery pack as the platform is dedicated to EVs, unlike the current models on sale. The range will be north of 500 kilometers.
