Nothing Phone 2a Launch date in India: Nothing recently launched the Nothing phone 2 in July. The London-based brand will soon launch its upcoming smartphone, the Nothing 2a, in India and worldwide.

The brand was criticised for the price of the Nothing 2. With the 2a, the brand will rectify that and target the lower end of the spectrum. As per reports, it will be a toned version of the Nothing 2. The model was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification site, after which curiosity has risen amongst phone enthusiasts.

BIS Certification Details of the Nothing Phone (2a)

The Indian regulatory body BIS recently certified a new phone from the London-based brand. The model number has changed slightly from AIN142 to A142, as earlier reported; this might be due to regional differences. This has further strengthened the rumour of an imminent launch.

Apart from the phone, Nothing has also certified a phone battery with the model number NT03. With the new battery certification, there is a high possibility of a different battery spec for the 2a.

Interestingly, back in August, the device was spotted on the IMEI database. According to leaks, the upcoming Nothing 2a will retain the iconic Glyph Interface on its back panel; with this, there has been excitement amongst Nothing lovers.

The phone should have a 4500-5000 mAh lithium polymer battery, which obviously will not be removable, along with a USB type-c cable and support for 35W fast charging.

The camera setup are likely to be the same with a dual camera setup. Its primary camera might be a 50-megapixel sensor, and the secondary sensor might be a 12-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera. In the video recording department, it will be able to record up to 4K @ 30 fps UHD.

It will also get Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Motion Photo, Expert Mode, Panorama and Super Race Mode like the other models from Nothing Stable. Talking about the front, it should get a 16/32-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera, which can record videos up to 1080p @ 30 fps FHD.

This phone is expected to be launched in India by February 2024. Nothing has been confirmed officially yet; according to the leaks and rumours, its introductory starting price will be from ₹ 24,990 and will consolidate at ₹ 27,990; this phone will be launched with only two colour options as already seen in its predecessor, one being Diamond White and the other Graphite Black.
