In the month of October 2023, we will witness two celestial events: A solar and a lunar eclipse.

A solar eclipse, which is also known as Surya Grahan, is one of the most significant celestial events.

A solar eclipse is a phenomenon in which the Moon blocks the Sun, while Earth's shadow obscures Moon in a lunar eclipse.

In India, the Solar eclipse will begin from 11:29 PM on October 14. The Surya Grahan will not be observable in India.

In India, The Solar eclipse will End at 11:34 PM on October 14, 2023.

12 hours before a solar eclipse Sutak is observed and for a lunar eclipse, Sutak is observed 9 hours before.
