Inshorts was started by three friends in 2013 Azhar Iqubal, Anunay Pandey and Deepit Purkayastha. They launched there app in 2015.

Anunay is the co-founder of Inshorts, he has done his M.Tech in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Deepit is the third co-founder of Inshorts, he has done his B.Tech and M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
